Mikhail Sergeevich Ageev (Russian, 1918-2007).
Mikhail Ageev was a member of People’s Artist Of Russia.
He graduated from the Ivanovo Art College. Among his teachers were such great masters as M. S. Perin and A. M. Kuznetsov. In 1947 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR.
The main theme of creativity of Mikhail Ageev became the landscape of Central Russia. The manner of his letters feature colorful palette created by the contrast of colors and plastic masses. Striking confirmation of this are such works as «Sunny Mart», «the first Days of Thunder», «autumn Gold».
The work of Mikhail Ageev stored in the State Russian Museum and more than thirty provincial museums of Russia.
