This wood carving of a Puerto Rican family — Familia Jibara — is in excellent condition. Wood is smooth, no warping, holes or flaking (See photos). Paint is evenly applied and facial expressions are well detailed. The mother’s eyes, focused on her husband, is holding her little girl’s hand. The position of father’s hands shows him holding sugar cane or another agricultural crop, which is not included in the set.
